Not much to say tonight. Weekend was just okay. It was nice to spend some time with Kevin Friday before he left. Met him before playing poker to lead a hand getting his tv up from the basement and put on his trailer. I complained the whole time about sweating and getting dirty hoping to make Kevin feel bad and then he’d stay. It didn’t work he left. I envy Kevin’s strength or is it his confidence to pack up all his belongings and leave the security of a familiar life to start anew. Maybe he just doesn’t like us. I felt very secure this weekend riding my bicycle both days. Didn’t get many miles riding but I did get in some visiting. Rode over to see Mike Barton, finally. Bill and Bonnie were just leaving as I rode up. We all chatted for a bit then Mike and I sat on his porch for an hour or so. I did ride past Gord and Barb’s house then back towards home because it started to rain. Rode slowly, under the trees, through Gage Park hoping it would stop, no luck. It’s no fun riding without fenders on your bike in the rain, the faster you ride the more the dirty water shoots right up the back of your ass. I slowly rode home had something to eat and slept for about 15 hours. I still love my sleep. Sunday I rode up to visit with Theresa, Wayne, Sam, Kohen and Terry or is it Alice. Timing was good for both Terry and I because Sam was on his way home and brought us all coffee. It was a nice visit with Kohen, he doesn’t cry as soon as he sees me anymore. Rode home and watched most of the PGA Championship ate my Chinese take out and was in bed before ten. As familiar as my weekend was I would have traded with Karl in a second. Did you hear he played Taboo on Sunday? I’m going to check his blog again for an update.

have you felt "insecure" riding your bike? is it because of your ability to ride? or the neighbourhood in which you ride?
also riding in the rain would be awesome...not near as boring...and you get to have a bubblebath when you get home!
