Turns out I didn’t get out for a bike ride as early as I first thought, stopped to do the dishes. Then my Mom called and we chatted. While I was on the phone Kevin left a message telling me he needed to let Sam know that he didn’t need Todd’s extra Ti-Cat ticket. So I called Sam and we chatted. Then I thought it would be a good idea to eat something before I left. So I ate, toast, oatmeal, banana and an almond bar. Finally ready for my bike ride. I started with a ride/walk through Gage Park keeping an eye out for Kevin and Terry. It was pretty crowded there, too crowded for pushing a bicycle through so I rode out to the beach strip. Actually the furthest distance I rode was to the lighthouse on the end of the pier at the lift bridge. Then back along the same route past Hutches, left onto highway 20, left onto King Street take the split to Lawrence Road, back through Gage Park and home again, home again. The most interesting thing to happen along the route was when I first started to ride away from the lift bridge. Normally when another guy starts a conversation with me while I’m riding my first thought is Moe!! I was peddling in a low gear, sitting straight up, flexing my free hand behind me because my hands go numb when I ride. This young 20 something, tanned, ripped, shirtless kid rides up beside me slows down and asked; “numb hands”? Now even if this good looking kid was gay I know that him asking an old guy like me for sex would be like throwing me a pity bone, so I felt safe. Anyway he continued on to tell me that I should consider an extension in my handlebars in order to sit higher or softer handgrips might also help. Then he said; “that’s my advice, for what it’s worth” so I thanked the polite young kid. He started to speed up again and popped a wheelie, riding along like that for 30 seconds or more. It was so cool. I swear if I wasn’t such a cycling-homophobe I would have sucked his dick. Sorry. Anyway I passed on the chance to see the Cats tonight. I’m going to stay home and watch the Washington Redskins in the exhibition game, hoping to see Jesse Lumsden play well. I’ve got a rack of pork ribs with Diane sauce for the bbq for dinner and might even finish the 5 beers left over from when Karl, Kevin and I went to witness Winnipeg destroy the Cats. I think the Cats will play much better against the Argo’s tonight. Oskee wee wee!!

You tell lies thinking I can’t see. This is a tougher song so there’s 25 bonus points for the correct answer.

Nice Kevin!! However I have to withhold those bonus points. When your answer is read phonetically it's correct but you typed "your" instead of "you're" But with the 50 points "you're" winning.

Congratulations!!!

Yaaaaaaaa!
