From Sea To Shining Sea
In March I traveled from coast to coast in this big beautiful country of ours. On this last trip to Halifax I may have eaten the best meal ever. Not a huge fan of calamari but since our Client found out I was going to Halifax he said to me, on three separate occasions, try the calamari at Fiascos. The Client is always right. The calamari appetizer was cooked in curry and topped with a yellow sauce easily the best calamari I have ever eaten. Not to sound tooooo gay but the medium rare beef tenderloin topped with goat cheese and portabella mushrooms was tooooo die for. Very nice restaurant good thing the ADESA Ford Mgr was there to pick up the tab. Because his son was sick the mechanic who does our Cam-Am vehicles cancelled on the dinner date so it was just Heather and I. Heather and I have been flirting with each other for about 5 years now. In and about the third year she mentioned she was married, but it didn’t stop the flirting. During this trip however I noticed that she wasn’t wearing her wedding rings. She tells me she works late often and her husband works straight nights as a supervisor of a call centre so they just pass each other in the driveway most nights. This isn’t our first time meeting, we’ve met on previous Halifax road trips when I worked for Campbell’s. It may be hereditary, not so much from me mudders side, but I’m really attracted to that east coast accent. I didn’t get a rental car and was going to take a taxi but Heather insisted on driving me back to the hotel. It’s about a half hour drive back to the hotel during which we mostly talked about our kids. When we arrived she parked in front of the entrance and the airport shuttle bus was blocking her from leaving. I leaned over to give her a hug while she was turned towards me removing her seatbelt. We were face to face and both leaned in for a kiss with the hug. I don’t think either of us expected that because she looked all flush and started talking very quickly about getting home. I thanked her for the great night, got out of the car and walked into the hotel while she was still blocked behind the van. I wonder how our first email is going to go tomorrow?

You're on to me Kev. There's no fool like an april fool. Everything happened up until the kiss. I noticed it was April 1st and threw that in at the last minute. I knew the Dear Penthouse approach would have been over the top.
